Multi-Instrumentalist and Award Winning Composer
Ted Mann: B.M., M.A., M.F.A., multi-instrumentalist and award-winning composer, is currently serving his thirty-second year on the music faculty at Keene State College in N.H. He teaches courses in the History of Rock and Roll, Avant Rock, Counterpoint, group guitar, private guitar and lute instruction. He has also directed the guitar chamber groups and guitar orchestra. His performing career has brought him to venues from Boston to New York City and across the country as a soloist and with a variety of chamber groups.
His guitar, lute and composition students have won many scholarships and have been accepted into some of the finest schools that include Yale, New England Conservatory, and UCLA to name a few. Many have pursued distinctive and highly acclaimed careers in various genres.
Weddings and events
For more than three decades, Ted Mann has also been a first-call musician for New England-based weddings, festivals, corporate gatherings, private clients, and concert organizers. Each performance is customized to fit the clients’ tastes, and can include classical, baroque, flamenco, early music, pop/folk, and various global styles.
